How big is your photon?
Photonics and lasers continue to improve our lives.  You will have seen the impact all around you, for your health, communication and entertainment. This is a result of the great discoveries of quantum science - at the core is the Photon, the fundamental particle of light.   In one of our shows a young fan of science once asked us, "How big is a photon?" A great question with more than one answer each illuminating different fascinating aspects of the quantum world. Let's check this out and explore the properties of photons, which influence everything we do with light.
