Shape the future of lighting at the LRC Summit, October 15-17 in Troy, New York

05 Aug 2019

The Lighting Research Center (LRC) Summit aims to inspire discussion and shape the future of lighting, where the industry plays a strategic, recognized role in benefiting society and the environment - from improving human health to enhancing food production to managing clean energy in the new electric grid. The event features keynote speakers for each of this year's themed pillars:

  • Lighting for Healthcare & Humanity - Robert White, M.D., Director of the Regional Newborn Program at Beacon Children's Hospital and Chair of the Standards Committee for NICU Design

  • Agricultural Lighting - Roger N. Beachy, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus in the Department of Biology at Washington University, who led the National Institute of Food and Agriculture under President Obama

  • Lighting & the Grid - Janet Joseph, Senior Vice President for Strategy and Market Development at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA)

A full list of programming, along with speaker bios and descriptions of each talk, is available at the LRC Summit website

Sponsorship Opportunities
In addition to our long-standing LRC Partner and Alliance programs, the LRC has a new Member program exclusive to organisations who want to take a more active leadership role in shaping the future of lighting. The main advantage of being an LRC Member is the opportunity to Sponsor the LRC Summit. As a Sponsor of the Summit, your organization's logo will be prominently featured on the LRC website, the Summit homepage, and the conference packet distributed to all attendees. Each LRC Member organization can send up to five participants to the Summit at no extra charge. In addition, LRC Members have the opportunity to shape the future of lighting by sponsoring workshops held throughout the year at various locations across the United States.
