Lightcycle will be LCAs new recycling programme

06 Apr 2020

Lighting Council Australia will expand their environmental programmes to include all components of lights and this will occur under the new name of Lightcycle.

Environment and Public Affairs Manager, Brodie Easton said that the new programme represented an expansion of current recycling initiatives and was a logical step forward in terms of the sensible disposal of lighting products.

"We have enjoyed considerable success with both our Fluorocycle and Exitcycle programmes but this new initiative provides us with an opportunity to involve more recyclers and spread the word about the importance of sound environmental initiatives. We are also in the midst of overhauling our Fluorocycle website that was in critical need of modernisation," he said.
